Objective of iVARSTM
- IVARS is a product developed basically to facilitate
the activities of the Recovery Agencies in having
first-hand information about the claims from the Insurance
Company and to regulate the activities of the Recovery
Operators (RO) through the Recovery Agents to serve
the customers in time.
- Fundamentally this software product focuses on the
day-to-day operations of the Recovery Operators who
work in harmony with the Recovery Agents and their
primary role is to assist the insured/claimant caught
up in the unforeseen situations like vehicle accident
or break down.

Work Flow of the Recovery
Operation

Recovery Agency
- Insurance company would inform Recovery Agent about
the claim initiated by the claimant through the web,
along with the information about the alternative arrangement
that needs to be facilitated to the customer, which
could either be providing an alternative vehicle or
a drop.
- Based on the information provided by the Insurance
Company, the Recovery Agent would assign the Recovery
Operator the task of physically reporting to the incident
site, based on the Recovery Operator’s availability
via automated SMS.
- Once the task gets assigned, the concerned Recovery
Operator can remotely download the information to
the Mobile device through the wireless Internet.
- Recovery operator visits the spot with the Mobile
device and registers if any deviation observed in
the information provided.
- After the execution of the task, confirmation will
be sent back to the Recovery Agent from the Mobile
device via wireless Internet.
- The Recovery Agent will access the information
reported by the Recovery Operator by logging into
the web application and a consolidated report on the
recovery operations performed to the customer will
be sent to the Insurance Company.
