ZSL to attend Forbes Corporate
Security Forum "Security
Through Innovation: Digital Convergence"
ZSL a global IT solution provider,
is participating in Forbes Corporate Security Forum at
Hilton Washington Embassy Row in Washington, D.C. on April
18,2007.

In
our new global environment, one that is haunted by 9/11,
the need for heightened security is imperative
everywhere you turn - at the airports, at the ports, at
the banks, at the schools, on the highways, on your
computer. New 21st century technologies are constantly
emerging that are designed to keep us more protected by
gathering, monitoring, and observing people and objects
while ensuring an integrated system that works in real
time and links the right players.>
Can
the information yielded by new security technologies be
effectively collected, sorted, networked, and
transferred into the right hands?
ZSL will explore all of this at the Forbes Corporate
Security Forum. The agenda for the Forum is designed to challenge and analyze the
security issues that face both corporate America
and government agencies. ZSL will investigate the
opportunities and challenges of merging the capabilities
of information and physical security.
Event Details
Security is not a new imperative.
But the world is a different, riskier, place with new
domestic and global challenges. There are not only new
threats, new regulatory imperatives and the potential
for new mandates, there are as well new technologies
that complicate the picture.
For the first time, the Forbes
Corporate Security Forum brings together executives and
leaders in all the key domains, from IT to operations,
from software to hardware, and from civilian to
military. This peer-to-peer forum will engage all
participants in Forbes' trademark: straight talk.
We'll look at what works, and what doesn't. We'll
hear from leaders who are pioneering next generation
solutions, and who are responsible for security on the
firing line, literally and figuratively. We'll hear
whether and how 21st century information technology can
be effectively integrated into traditional security
operations, and whether and how it can yield any
decisive advantages. We'll try to find out if there
is, as some claim, a convergence emerging amongst these
domains.
